Young virtuoso stars of the classical scene in their own right, pianist Zhang Zuo, violinist Esther Yoo, and cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan – winner of the 2011 Tchaikovsky Competition – create classical interpretations borne of “total togetherness.” With a musical chemistry “like alchemy” (Cambridge Independent), their program includes violin and cello sonatas by Beethoven and Shostakovich and concludes with Antonin Dvorák’s evocative “Dumky” Trio.
